100 Gecs wouldn’t have dreamt this up if remixing Lady Neptune

Beats come in all forms. We still hear about our friend’s surreal experience inside an MRI scanner. And, many are partial to the remixed sounds of a building site – including us. Sadly, experimentation is not for everyone, though luckily, there are artists who push the parameters such as Ani Klang, the Californian producer & DJ. This self-titled beat fest will give you palpitations as it builds to its epic conclusion. The unremitting percussion appears to come from a number of sources, and is regularly spiced and spliced with vocals, adding to the overload.

Call it what you like: a machine gun EDM or a steroid pumped gabber, these beats are manna from heaven. 100 Gecs wouldn’t have dreamt this up if remixing Lady Neptune. You’ll feel the body aftershocks repeating days later. Maybe titles such as Elastic Drumplay and Kickdrum Slut should have acted as a warning. Either way, this is one helluva legal high.
