CAPRA ‘In Transmission’

Your new metallic hardcore best friend

Some debuts are like a new best friend and we’re giving up social distancing for this one. Capra, from Layfette, Louisiana, sit at the hardcore end of the metal spectrum, but tick a number of boxes. The riff machine that is Tyler Harper, spits out a continual feast of fire when the whole quartet aren’t in a heads down crescendo rush. All this is fuel for Crow Lotus to launch herself into a frenzy of screech-a-long vocal sprints. With some genuinely hair on the back of the neck tingling moments, we’re desperate to hear the whole album.
