DEATH PILL ‘Death Pill’

Classic hardcore & barbarous thrash from Kyiv

Life in Ukraine has been turned on its head and we can’t imagine how that feels. Therefore, hearing punk rock emanating from Kyiv is such a buzz. Death Pill hurl a barrage of power into this self titled debut combining classic hardcore through to a barbarous thrash. Overall, an expansive landscape defined by an intense physicality: wide ranging hooks are topped with ripping skramz and lyrics sung loud and proud. The all female trio put the boot into the patriarchy and systems of oppression, fuelled by a laser focused anger to eat up the twenty two minute duration. Keep kickin’ out the jams Kyiv.
