GOTH LIPSTICK ‘Formless, Shapeless’

Sep 8, 2021 | Music, Reviews

San Franciscan duo holding all the glitch pop aces

Not only do Goth Lipstick have the coolest moniker in music but they’ve hatched a fresh brand of glitch/noise pop. Formless, Shapeless follows quickly in the footsteps of their debut Crystalline Corset, and in just sixteen minutes, proves this young act to be holding all the aces. At its core are some of the freshest hook filled tunes, so the bubblegum sugar coating adds to the party rather than exposing any weaknesses. You’ll also notice their writing becoming more daring with the gear change in the title track, and the blissed out coda, making it a track of the year.
