IGLOOGHOST ‘Lei Line Eon’

An exploration of the esoteric arts & traditions

Since catching Iglooghost’s mind boggling stage show we’ve followed his every move. Seamus Malliagh is the chief executive of beat manipulation. His rapid fire, glitch-laden tracks, are akin to experiencing an Olympic bobsleigh ride. So, like many, we were taken aback by Lei Line Eon. Malliagh has chosen to investigate Lei music, an ancient tradition cloaked in secrecy which has the ability to summon floating lifeforms. The masterly beats are still in evidence, but a slow motion frame by frame approach is used, drawing us closer to the action. Also, he doesn’t shy away from arcane whispered words to intensify the experience. You may think that sounds rather studious and dry, however, this exploration of the esoteric arts has deepened our respect for an uncompromising artist.
