LILIANE CHLELA ‘Safala’

A fearsome addition to Chlela's expanding universe

Liliane Chlela has taken the brakes off and the results are spectacular. The amped up pummelling beats are set to stun throughout Safala. The range is impossible to track: anything from the impression of hammered metal, to helicopters, to footsteps are sculpted into animated super beings, not to be ignored. The tension is relentless and a sense of foreboding floods your senses as the scene is enveloped in a futuristic claustrophobia. The Lebanese sound artist is an architect of new worlds, and this is a fearsome addition to her expanding universe.
