MALLEUS ‘The Fires Of Heaven’

Moves like a nitrous fuelled Mad Max II mutant dragster

There certainly isn’t an issue in the Malleus engine room: The Fires In Heaven moves like a nitrous fuelled Mad Max II mutant dragster. And, with band member monikers such as The Watcher and The Hammer, this lot would slot right into the movie. Imagine the guts of some deviant second cousin of the NWOBHM, coupled with your highlights from the first wave of black metal, then pummelled into a demonic new creation. The band foresee torture & sickness as wars rage on amidst a host of memorable riffs and ravaged vocals. It may be dredged up from a deep well of sorrow, but the fires burn bright in this one.
