SHOOTING DAGGERS ‘Athames’

A slap in the face to corruption and abuse

Shooting Daggers, the London based queercore trio, work at speed: both making a deep impression on the live scene, and with the blistering riffage they dish up on Athames, their new EP – the title refers to a type of dagger used by witches during rituals. From basement clubs, to Desertfest, to Amyl & the Sniffers support slots, these women have hoovered up fans with incisive hardcore, saturated with hooks and venomous barbs. This is a politically charged slap in the face to all the corruption and abuse on their radar.
