SNFU were a jewel in the hardcore community

We once witnessed Kendall Chinn, aka Mr Chi Pig, arrive onstage in full cheerleader gear with ponytails and pom poms at the ready. As you can imagine it was an entertaining evening. The guy was a natural born showman and SNFU (Society’s No Fucking Use) were a jewel in the hardcore community. Never afraid to challenge cliches, and always addressing society’s ills, the Canadian group’s clever sound remained melodic even at breakneck speed. Mr Chi Pig also came out as gay and became a respected voice for the queer youth in the punk community. The group would consistently switch personnel, and despite Mr Chi Pig coping with dependency and mental health issues, they hit a commercial high when signing to Epitaph, enjoying support slots with Green Day, Bad Religion and Korn.

The five tracks on this EP are outtakes from the session for the In The Meantime And In Between Time album. Receiving their first release, they sit nicely in the classic SNFU mould, and will delight all fans, and punk rock addicts.
