We’ve made no secret of our love for Philadelphia’s Wrecking Crew and their solo projects. Now, shortly after celebrating the release of Prem Rock’s Load Bearing Crow’s Feet, we find Zilla Rocca dropping some thrillingly fresh beats. Linking up with regular sparring partner, Chong Wizard, and some familiar homies, Vegas Vic appears to be part crime story/alter ego trip, and part reflective memoir. As everyone knows, when you roll the dice you can end up a god or down and out, and Rocca’s wit and wordplay are more than a match for this playground.
